We conduct assessment and trials to identify assistive technology or equipment that will assist you with everyday activities - at home, in your place of education or workplace, or any other environment where you regularly spend time.

We can write detailed reports to help you purchase recommended assistive technology through a funding body (eg. NDIS).

Assistive technology includes devices like:

• mobility devices eg. manual or power wheelchairs and scooters

• specialised seating

• transfer aids and manual handling equipment

• height adjustable beds

• equipment to assist with pressure injury prevention and management eg. mattresses, specialised cushions

• aids for use in the bathroom, shower or kitchen

• customised assistive technology solutions for unique situations

• seating and hoisting equipment to help you travel in and transport your mobility device in a car or other vehicle

• portable ramps

We can provide assessment and recommendations on modifications to your home (or other environment) that will improve physical access and help you perform everyday activities safely and as independently as possible.

For example:

• grab rails

• step and ramp modifications including platform and stair lifts

• accessible bathrooms and kitchens

• ceiling hoists

• alterations to floor plan or internal or external doorways

• alterations to outdoor areas

• advice on accessibility when planning a new build or renovation

This process may include:

• site visits

• development of concept drawings and statement of works required

• advice when choosing fittings and finishes

• completing reports for funding bodies

• liaison with builder and architects or drafts-persons

• evaluation of modification prior to handover
